I have seen tons of images of the Silver HD650 all over the internet but have never seen a actually photo of these ever.
So I was wondering is really a silver pair of HD650 and if so I would love to see a picture of it?

To my knowledge, the silver HD650 are the newer version.

I am fairly certain that those are the normal HD650 and that new and old look the same.

I think they look better silver, maybe you should forward it to Senn for their 2010 model.

This could easily be a Photoshop ctrl-shift-u (desaturate) job.

Yes and no. The screens over the drivers on the newer version are silver. The bodies are not.

Same color [metallic grey], different lighting, as has been said earlier.

Someone actually sanded and repainted their HD650s glossy white a couple weeks ago. If only I could find the thread.

Yes, the lighting/photowork in the picture is off and makes them appear more silver than they are. As people had mentioned, when the term "silver" is used to describe the new hd650, they are talking about the screens over the driver housing underneath the foam.

The old and new versions look identical.

Just install some high-intensity studio lights in your home. A regular HD-650 will look silver.
