Just curious, how does the se846 compare to a high end custom molded iem such as the JH Audio Roxanne? Has anyone A&Bed these yet? I'm torn about my next purchase.

I can't say for the Roxanne since I don't have them, but when compared to the JH13 Pro Freqphase, I prefer the JH13. The fit is the largest factor, being customs means they are suited to your needs. Comfort, isolation and even sound quality would be at its best.

Yeah, IMO, my 1964-V3 which is a low-end custom sound better than the 846.  It definately has more bass and has that tight sound or clarity that customs seem to have.  Not sure if the custom fit helps to tighten the sound.

The one place where the SE846 would win is its instant purchasing time. You won't have to worry about long production time or custom fit issues. Simplicity.

Hi, I noticed your sig.  Do you prefer JH13 or UERM for most of your listening?

Hi! It depends really. I do see myself using the JH13 more often now.
