Which gain setting should I be using with the above headphone and portable amp set up. Also, what are the reasons for selecting a particular setting.

I have a JDS C5 and Shure SE535 Ltd Edition and I listen to them on the low gain setting on the C5. Reason is the SE 535's are considered as one of the most sensitive (easy to drive) IEM's from Shure. I could go into a more technical explanation, but that about sums it up.
