I have some Shure se535 drivers that I'm getting put in custom moulds.

Should I use shure connectors or is there an upgrade/swap that is better?

Also, are the internal crossovers brown or green as shown in the manual?

Please help.

Why don't you just send it off to a company like UM to do that for you? They will use the custom ciem connector and they know what they are doing with crossover, filters, and tuning.

Is there a general consensus on which connector option is better?

Also, is it worth combining the Shure e5 and Shure 530 drivers into the one piece?
Idk about other pins, but most companies use the pin I suggested and it'd be easier to find cables for it.

I would stay away fro.adding drivers unless you know how to tu.e crossovers. Adding driver will improve the sound, but only with proper tuning.
