Hi guys,

I am having difficulty deciding between Shure SE425 and Sony XBA-3

I prefer a neutral sound and I listen mainly to pop, alternative rock and a little bit of everything else.

Is there a better IEM with good sound isolation and minimal microphonics that can meet my needs? Please recommend!!! My budget is around 330USD

Thanks!!!

Hi Tim
I have sony xba4
Xba4  has a huge soundstage, great instruments separation and bass heavy, terreble goes very high
Mean its more fun sounding iem , V shaped sound. No microphonics.
Se 425 is a nutrel iem ,with less bass and less terreble.
So it depend on your personal taste.
I was so dissapointed with xba4 for the first time, i was about to sell it.
But after a serious listen  i begen to like the sound, now i am very happy with it.
Hope this helps
