Interestingly, SE420's are one of the few mid/high tier IEM's that were never subject to the FOTM (Flavour Of The Month) syndrome here on Head-fi.  Whether that is a good thing or a bad thing, I'm not sure, but SE530's and the 310's always got more mention.  The general consensus with these is that they do sound good and balanced, but somewhat lifeless and boring.  From the one time I demoed it I would probably have to agree, but that was almost 2 years ago now...

WHAT No one interested in the SE 420 , if you get these you can be sure your next phone will be an upgrade lol
