Hello, 
 
I am new to forum and I was wondering if you guys can help me choose my first IEM. I would like to spend around $100 on my new IEM. After doing research for a bit I came up with four options: Shure SE215, Westone 1, Etymotic HF5 and AKG K374. 
 
Of course the most important factor for me is SQ, I like bassy IEMs but not heavy bass, I like to listen to music at the highest volume possible and I would prefer a balanced IEM. The build quality is also an important factor for me.

i have had the shure se215 for 4 years. no problems at all. They sound great and the bass is rich and blends in well . They are your best bet in my opinion. best of luck my friend.
