the SE210 has a BA and the SE215 has a dynamic speaker. The SE315 has also one BA so that one will be the upgrade version of the SE210

That's kinda strange that the newer version is not BA but why did they not make it BA anymore?

How does the SE215 sound like now?

The new SE215 got a lot more bass than the SE210, loss a little bit sparkle, but got a more bodied mid, vocal almost the same, sweet natural and buttery. Separation and sound stage almost the same.
If you like bass then maybe SE215 is an upgrade, if you like the clarity & precision of the BA driver, then you must go to the SE315, I personally never heard the SE310/315.

I own both actually.. I have first the se215 and after about 8 months, my dad bought the cheaper se210 for a graduation gift... My first pair which is the se215 has a bit more bass and a little thump and "oomph" to it.. But in terms of clarity i would go for the se210.. I listen to music alot but I actually prefer listening to my se210 than the se215... Its just that the 210 reveals a more clear and true sound compared to the se215... If your a bass enthusiast, i recommend the se215, but if you are more on the trebley side and would want a more defined highs and mids, plus a pocket friendly price, then you cant go wrong with the se210...
