Hmm? IEM's use armature drivers. They don't burn-in.
It's just your ears getting used to their sound

they are probably going back..

i've ordered a pair of SE420 and a pair of UE5-EB

if none of those work, i'll get a pair of livewires or freqs

i work @ futureshop, so i get employee discounts..

I had the UM1 before and I love them.. great fit, great sound..
I've always been itching to try to UM2s, but never got the chance to

If you want that in it's highest form, buy a set of Ultimate Ears Triple fi-10 Pro. They have that in overflowing.

cash is not overflowing in my wallet....
hopefully the SE420 will come in.. i think that would be something i'll be able to enjoy for a while

That may be true, and I know the feeling real well

but you must have paid over $300 for those SE420s and the Triples are $338.

well, the SE420 has not came in yet..
and nope, the price is not over 300, it's a lot less than that.. making it worthwhile for me

You'll probably like those SE420s. If they're anything like the SE530s you'll greatly enjoy them after you get a good enough seal so the amazingly accurate bass can shine.

I'd suggest using Klipsch single flange gels. Outstanding seal, isolation and comfort.
