How are the cables on these? I thought Shure cables were known to fall apart. I don't want to spend $79 on something that's going to fall apart.

The cables on the SCL4 seem pretty burly to me.

How is the soundstage on the SCL4? Soundstage and a natural sound that draws you in are what's most important to me in an earphone.

Do you think they'll still have them in stock in February? I'm thinking this might be a good birthday present idea.

Or should I follow my impulse and buy them now? I have $280 total, so I'd be spending a little less than a third of my money on these.

Sorry about the double post, but on a scale of 1 to 10, how high is the fun factor on the SCL4?

WAIT A SECOND...

The availability says Special Order. Does that mean I can still order them for $80 even though there are none left? From the description, that's what it sounds like to me.

Someone please answer ASAP. If I can still get them for $80, I'm doing it right now!

Don't know if this is too late - but I don't know

The fun factor - not sure what you mean... If you want thumping, pounding bass - not so much. It will be punchy, and sufficient, but it's not going to parallel M5s or X10s. It will have a nice midrange of which I was a definite fan

Meh, I'm over them. I'm just gonna save up for some "real" headphones. I was thinking maybe the Ultrasone HFI-2200.

I just picked these little guys up yesterday. Couldn't pass up the $85 (including tax) for them.
*Edit* I should note that they were the white ones that were on sale. the black ones were still $150 or maybe a bit more. *edit*

While they aren't as enjoyable as the Sleek audio SA6's that I just got they aren't bad for the price! Bass isn't as strong and the mids seem a little more forword then the SA6.

But for the price they just can not be beat!
