If you haven't done so, install the Shure PLAY app on your phone and see if it recognizes them when you think they're on. I think there's an option in the app to have lights appear on the headphones when they're on or when they're performing a certain function.

If all else fails, Shure is very good about quickly replacing them with new ones (not refurbs) if you send them in with the proper procedure and purchase receipt. The Returns procedure is on their website.

Just got mine earlier this week and has been using them everyday paired up with my Elysian Pilgrim. Loving it so far. Great snug fit and no dangling whatsoever making it great for working out. Sound is plenty loud, connection has been great, good range, quite surprisingly good ambiance mode and case is solid but quite large compared to other brands.

In the app I selected the SE215 to get the expected output level at medium volume setting. According to Shure that selection does not include any EQ, just gain. So its safe to try.

Ergonomics feel great and the connection is quick and stable. They sound lovely, very transparent and the ambient function is very realistic. Very good so far.
I'd like to let them settle for a few days and then switch to Ifi Go Pods to hear difference in SQ if any.

I love the simplicity as well as the EQ customisation.

A tip about expanding soundstage perception I mentioned before is to leave the environment mode on.

Congrats on your purchase! I am contemplating on getting one.... My partner just recently joined the bluetooth IEMs crowd, so I had a chance to try out... it is pretty cool to hear how far we have gone in terms of quality & wireless devices.

I would say that for "day to day" activities, the mobility makes sense. Just like any tool, I guess we can have one that fits better a particular task, but quite likely no such a thing as one size fits all

What's your take on Ambience mode? By surprisingly good means it tones down "regular" noise to the point that if you simply want to use to quiet down our surroundings, that works? or only if we have "music" playing? I'm thinking of making phone calls/zoom meetings in a noisy environment? would that be feasible?
