I have a Pioneer VSX-511 receiver. My computer is using GTXP as sound card. Should I just connect my headphones through GTXP's breakout box? Or digital out to my receiver and use the headphone jack?

I want some suggestions before rerouting my cables.

Whatever you do, do it at your own risk.

Uh, is it so hard to re-wire and try it out?

Go for it! I particularly like the headphone jack output on my Denon, so you might find that you are surprised at how your receiver sounds. Good or bad you might be surprised.

OBTW, great avatar. I loved Big Trouble in Little China.
