Should i get RME ADI 2 dac?

Have you or anyone considered the beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro with the ADI DAC 2? I don’t own either just yet, but in a testing of the ADI at my audio shop, the DT-1990’s sounded more immersive than the 650‘S to my Neanderthal ears. Thoughts?

From my experience with HD 600 out of the RME I would be very hesitatant to use 250 ohm Beyers without a separate headamp.

And insufficient drive may indeed be the reason you're not happy with how your 650s sound of the RME.
