Comfort has not been a priority for me in picking shoes, but now it is. Are there any cheap (~$100) shoes that'll make me feel like I'm walking on the clouds? I'll consider any brand as long as the shoes look modest/simple. Casual sneakers preferred.

Dickies twin gore oxford. Been wearing these for awhile since i stand alot and work and they are very comfortable and im happy with them.

Keen makes really comfortable shoes but some may find their styling a bit dorky. I have various pairs of Salomon that I really like – the foot beds are molded and provide great support and they mostly look like fancy trainers.

i have been wearing different nike airmax shoes for the last 6 years of my life and i wouldn't have it any other way

Nike shoes aren't all that comfy AFTER you've tried these few...
Onitsuka Tiger shoes. MOST of them are very comfortable.
And Puma racing shoes
Not quite sure what the prices are from where you come from though.

I've been wearing New Balance 574s exclusively for the past ten years at least. Nothing else compares.

I got one of these in green color and they're surprisingly snug and comfy. It feels like you're not wearing it.

Merrell makes a great shoe that fits me well. Nothing beats a Sperry 3-eyelet Billfish on my feet, though.
