A somewhat unrelated question towards people who have experience in selling used audio gear and are based in the EU - Which shipping method do you use? - I visited my local DHL store and was told that for a relatively small package of less than 1kg I would have to pay around 60 euros, whereas whenever I bought something through head-fi I never had to pay more than 20-25 euros in shipping (even for packages multiple times the weight).

Check out Eurosender. They use most of the carrier services and are usually much cheaper than going through couriers directly.

Was it in the EU or Europe? DHL in EU is about €20 for 5kg packages. Shipping to countries like Norway, Great Britain (Europe but non-eu) is about what you quoted, handled as express package (near next day delivery)

I used France as an example-I'm shipping from Greece as per my profile location indicates,so EU. I find the same price range on the "get-a-quote" tab of the official site as well. Could you provide a link for the €20 shipping quote?

That's quite accurate. If you're in the EU, the same package sent to countries outside of that zone will cost roughly 3x more.
