Which one would you suggest?
I need lots of isolation, comfort and obviusly good sound, really good one.
I can buy the she9800 for 23€ and the pl50 for 37€.
Now I've got the sennheiser ie6 but I'm going to sell 'em because the don't isolate enough since my ear canals are asimmetrical.
I was also wondering if the shure black olives fits the she9800, does anybody know?

These are (SHE9800) quite good for that price range but i think PL50 willbe better choice if you want great soundquality.

Just bumping this since I'm also interested in a comparison between these two.

I have both and they are very different beasts IMO. SHE9800 is dynamic, has a U-shaped freq-response with good bass and big soundstage. Isolation is average 'cause it's vented. PL50 is BA and definitely flatter. Isolation is better, soundstage is smaller. Both are good bang for buck, the SHE9800 being a bit more fun IMO.

BTW the SHE9800 is also a good companion for the AMP3. Due to low sensitivity it has almost no hiss.

Hi. From your signature it looks like you are still waiting to receive the PL50. Could you explain why you feel that the PL50 are better? Thanks.

From your words it looks like you enjoy the SHE9800 more then the PL50. Am I wrong ?

Basically you're right, but it depends. For commuting I'd prefer the PL50 because of better isolation and less microphonics (over-ear). Other than that I really like the fun sound of the SHE9800. Soundstage and bass are awesome for that price range IMO. Moreover, since I got the AMP3 they're all the more valuable to me, because there are so few phones that sound good and have a tolerable amount of hiss with this picky DAP.
