playforsure is a gamble. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. imo, my micro was an awesome player, but had some of the crappiest software i'd ever used. had i kept the original firmware, things might have been better, the new beta firmware was horrible.

just see what you can get away with. if your micro works fine with 2.xx.xx then use it, if not then go back to the 1.xx.xx. but just make sure to stay away from the beta cause you cant go back from that firmware (as jnev well knows).

Wait for a more secure version to be released.

Also, don't give up on your micro so fast- its guaranteed to freeze or not be recognized by your computer the second, third, fourth, even fifth time you try to transfer your damn music.
