Please switch off wireless projection off in EM 5 and switch on wireless projection in EM 5 and same in phone , it may work.

My EM5 arrived this week. I am trying it out and gathering impressions. So far everything works nicely for me. I am surprised by the built quality and the OS is fast as well. I have no audible noise or hiss on all headphone outputs with sensitive IEMs in the turbo mode, that's definitely a big plus! Also the wireless projection did work immediately, but I don't really need it. Tidal works also flawlessly. I will share more impressions after I spend some more time with it.

I wanted to ask, if there is a way to select the output? I want to use my pc speakers, another amp and the headphone out but not all at the same time.

Some recommendations:

• Allow output selection
• Allow volume adjustment in USB mode without waking the device up (by clicking on the knob first)
• Allow disabling of the red stand-by light

I would not say so. I like the unit already very much and don't have issues at all. I would be happy with some additional features like output selection. They should probably create a service desk for issues and not use the forum.

Currently there is no way how to select output. Will propose it as possible switch.

The Volume control demanding screen on, yes, that's stupid mistake and we hope that software team will adjust it soon.

We do not plan to disable the standby light.

Right now I can only recommend to move back to older firmware and test if it works again. You can do that through the manual update, instructions and firmware file available here: https://en.shanling.com/article-EM5V123.html

Software team don't have any helpful recommendation for you situation.

If I have connected outputs (XLR/RCA) and connect my headphone (tested with 6,35mm and 4,4mm input) the outputs are still active. The only thing that happens is that the volume gets a bit lower on all connected outputs.

I'm sorry, my mistake. On current firmware it is as you say, there is no way how to mute RCA outputs. Only way is to either turn off whatever amplifier you have connected to the RCA outputs or disconnect the cables.

Ok no worries. Unfortunately I have connected my pc speakers to it so I can't just turn them off from my sitting position. Is it planned to activate that feature in the future again?

Tried to revert back to ver 1.23. Still my phone cannot find my EM5. This is so frustrating.

went back to ver 1.27. forget the wifi then connect again. i was able to use wireless projection. but after a day, my phone cant see the EM5 again. this is getting out of hand.
