That's bad.
Strangely not having such issues.
Only having these:
- stream is playing but muted and solved by pause / play in both Amazon / Tidal
- music stream is playing but playing screen frozen and thereby showing old album / song - resolved by app restart

Got an M8 on the way to me pretty excited to add this dap to the collection. I’m hoping it will be the upgrade to WM1Z that I’ve been searching for. Loved the WM1Z’s sound signature, but the lack of streaming, low power output and background noise were my big gripes. It sounds like M8 will tick all those boxes! Has anyone paired M8 with an Andromeda and/or Solaris? If so, is there any audible hiss?

No hiss. Very quiet dap.

Update replacement dap.
After a burn in run about 4 days the sound settled and is gorgeous again. Happy camper about that.

Has everyone tried just unplugging and re-plugging in your phones? That fixes output weirdness for me most of the time.

Andromeda 2020 has no audible hiss to me. I can even use it on Turbo.

Still working on this fix. It showed up mainly on V1.2 firmware, we reduced occurrence of it on V1.3, next firmware will hopefully get rid of it completely.

Oh wow, it's absolutely perfect. And no issues at all with track transitions or locked screen etc.

Move over Tidal, I'm really not seeing the point of paying for that in addition to AM which I'm a long term subscriber to anyway.
