The M8 is here and it supports MQA! 😍
I was owning M6, M6 Pro and now the M8, but the M8 is much bigger and the screen is also a big upgrade. All is highend grade, the wood box is crazy nice!👌👌👌
The next days i have to compare the sound to the M6 pro.

@Shanling can i use the GMS Patch from the M6 pro to install the google services at the M8?
If not it would be very nice if you could send me the patch for the M8.
thanks alot!

Does it offer MQA streaming like R8?
I'm told by my friends M8 sounds softer and warmer compared to R8, making it ideal for long term listening on 3.5mm out and on balance, it becomes more detailed.

I haven't figured out how to enable MQA yet. No MQA display appears in the Tidal app. Maybe @Shanling can enlighten us about this? Yes Shanling always has a rather soft sound, which is what I prefer.
After first 5h of listening, i am really happy with the M8. I have to listen for longer period to give you impressions of the sound. But i can tell you there is more detail than at the M6 pro.
It's a very big and heavy player, but battery life is great!
