Interchangeable headphones sockets mean.....an adapter of an adapter for the socket ? 0_0 whose idea was it ? I rather prefer onboard direct or direct soldered on wires

Son of a b..... Lol, if I new this was coming I surely would have held off on the M6 Pro (which I like very much). Man this hobby is going to kill me. I would really recommend a larger internal storage, Android 9 (at least) and improve the file system.

From the picture, it seems to have up to 4000mAh internal battery as same as M6 and M6 Pro. I wish the playback time on balanced output will not lower than M6 Pro.

Will this one ever get 64bit android?
It was promised way back at the launch of the M6 but it never arrived, there have been M6Pro (still 32bit) and now M8 since, probably doesn't matter for your stock app but Neutron takes advantage of 64bit. A shame as the M6/M6Pro are the only android daps Neutron can upsample upto 768khz

M6 Pro is already using 64bit Android. M8 should be the same.

Currently 64bit is only on M6 Pro.

Because of Snapdragon 430 ( 2015 SoC) , forget about Android 9.

And with 4GB RAM , knowing Android use at leat 2 - 3GB RAM ...
