I have had my M7around 3 months now, and I don't understand the complaints about WiFi speeds. This device was designed (and purchased) for music streaming, especially the highest-resolution Tidal. I really don't care about WiFi speed beyond the minimum for that purpose. Mine does about 12G when my phone does 500. Who cares? High res Tidal only requires 8.

If speed are damn slow, then what to do ?
I mean it buffers multiple times to play a sony online.

Note: We recommend downloading the file and proceeding with a Manual update, as OTA update might be too slow.
I have updated the firmware, but it didn't fixed wifi issue.
Also the speed got decreased more.
You have mentioned in mail that the issue will be fixed in upcoming firmware update but still it exists.
Why are are your playing with consumer money.
My device is also paid, if i had buyed directly from with discount that doesn't means that i am not eligible for the in- warranty service.
Pathetic company.

This is the customer service provided by @Shanling .
Recently they said that it will get fixed in firmware update but nothing changed in the recent update.
Now what to do ?
If i send my device to china, then you say its a software issue nothing can be done.
Then who will take the liability of this ??

We always recommend purchasing devices from our official sellers, then you are covered for such issues and can ask for refund.

On 1 year-old unit, that was sold discounted as a review sample, to a completely different user - we can't provide any refund on that unit.

I have attached the proofs for that.
But you kept me in loop saying that firmware update will fix that.
But none of that happened.
Also the unit is paid, it is not free review sample.
It was discounted not free.
Don't evade with your responsibilities.

I didn't asked for refund anywhere, check all the mails from my side.
I never asked for refund.
I only asked the solution for this issue or upgrade me to a device( equivalent model or higher) that is free from this issue.
But @Shanling kept me saying that it will get fixed in upcoming firmware, yesterday it got released and no improvement.
Also who we help me out if its not you.
I don't need refund but you have to do something for this.
What message you are giving here by not providing any help to me.
You know everything, i have paid money, i have valid details, i was under warranty period.
Still i am left like this

There is no solution at this time for your issue. All our current players are using the same 665 SoC.

We can do nothing for you.

Why has Shanling released this player in a Blue colour now? I would imagine with the incoming update to this player immenent with the AK dacs. It would have been better then to offer a colour option.

We do not have any imminent update for M7 coming? We are happy with its performance as our neutral tuned player on ESS chipset. You can pick M6 Ultra for AKM sound.
