I had been using the iPhone with the Qudelix 5K, or with an apple camera adapter into a iFi DAC 2, into Moondrop Blessing 2 Dusk IEMs, and both (Quedelix and iFi DAC) sounded really good. But then I bought the M6 Ultra (on MusicTek) and it raised the sound quality and enjoyment even further, and by a large margin. So, not trying to 'influence' your decisions, but just wanted to give that bit of insight into the DAP vs iPhone experience. Seeing as I always have my iPhone with me, I will continue to use the Quedelix>Moondrop setup when 'on the go'.

Yes, there is definitely a boost in the sound quality that is easily discernible. I really like the M6 Ultra. If I buy a DAP again I cannot think of anything much better to buy. I may just repurchase when the price drops on Amazon this week. The only thing I did not like was it does not seem to have very strong WI-FI and Bluetooth. But those were small issues.

I picked up one also from MusicTeck. It wasn't listed as used and it came shrinkwrapped so I thought I was getting a new one but the screen protector was full of someone else's use evidence I was able to clean it up and it has no issues, just a bit of an odd experience... This is a very nice DAP for the money. Great value.

Not yet. If MusicTeck shrink wrapped it they did a very good job, but the screen was a definite turn off

So far, compared to A&K Kann Max, M6U has a much more forward signature. Haven’t had a dap with AKM chips in awhile. Also, M6U is has <20 hrs on it right now. I expect the sound to change but not all that much. And M6U gets loud in a hurry. I haven’t had up much past 25, usually lower. After listening to M6U for hours last night, this morning I switched to KMax and my brain took forever to adjust. Everything sounded muted on the KMax but I know it layers excellently

Well, you oughta ask anyways. I don’t think Musicteck is at all shystie. Maybe Shanling factory? Either way, if it works fine. But definitely let Musicteck know.

I also got a new one but from Amazon. It came shrink wrapped like this, which looks new to me.



I do think the stock / pre applied screen protector is quite poor quality. Mine picked up little micro scratches almost instantly, so I’d assume it wasn’t actually used/re wrapped but it’s probably just from being handled before being packaged up and shipped out. I have had mine for about 30 hours and the screen protector looks like it’s 1-2 weeks old.

That is the way mine was wrapped so it looked new, however for me the screen protector looked like someone had sneezed on it. And with Covid and all - yucch...

Please what exactly was visible on the screen protector? Scratches, air bubbles? Something else?
If it come wrapped, then there it could have been mismanaged by our QC. They are supposed to clean each device after it goes through all testing before packaging, but sometimes one can slip through unnoticed.

Had mine arrived today. Same thing few scratches on the screen already. I think its just because of the screen protector quality i guesss. Rubs the box it came with. Sounds awesome so far compared with my only dac amp ifi go blu

That’s what I thought too. Just checked and I have indeed installed a second screen protector over the pre installed one.
