Can you tell me if it is a good idea (in terms of compatibility and sound) to use Meze 99 Neo headphones with Shanling M2?

Alas, my beloved M2 stop working. It happened when connecting an usb cable. The screen is now very fainting showing

CAUSE 0000- Reserved instruction

followed by what appears to be a dump of the CPU registers.

Any suggestions on how to revive it?

I don't have Neo. I tried it with 99 Classics. It sounds OK, not the best though. If coupled with Zishan DSD the sound is much more mature.

There was a good deal for these... Then i realize it has quite a high Output Impedance for a modern DAP... Sadly my IM02/04 isnt that merciful to those kinds.

Hi shanling, where i can buy m2 battery, my m2 always restart when i click play on first boot, it happen when my battery on 80% below, but when it charged 100%, everything work just fine

Otherwise, firmware for all our old products can be found on Chinese version of our website.

On now playing screen, hold down wheel and then choose "Add to Playlist" and there you can add it to "My Favorites". Similarly you can do it from folder/My music browsing, hold down wheel and then add to playlist

My Favorites list is in My Music menu.
