Shenzhen audio told me they will have the cases on their website tomorrow and I think the M2 is available Oct. 25th. so I can order both together.

bruce1967: hakushondaimao and I are getting M2's samples from Shanling for review + tour in the US & Canada. They should arrive Monday. Not sure if the case will be included, though.
I think I'll order mine soon...they are available for preorder from Shenzhen Audio and they will have them in stock by October 25th so I should get to see some of your comments before I buy it but I really love the look and they say they have a warm house sound. Wouldn't be the first DAP I bought without hearing first...

I think of the M3 as neutral but in a nice smooth way. I'm hoping the M2 will keep that sound. It's not at all warm like the Fiio X3 Classic if that's what you're asking.
Haven't heard AP100, so I can't comment. I reached out to them quite awhile ago to see if I could review the AP100. They said it was old, the AP300 was coming out soon, maybe I could get an AP300 for review. Well, I think we all know how that's going :rolleyes:

I prefer warm sound so might have to give this a miss.
People say AP100 is warm. UI like Fiio lacking though.
Only Cowon and Sony know good UI,
