Nits:

• app can't display album art from microSD
  • no workaround
• I don't know what makes the the scan freeze!
  • tried shortening the file name: no dice
  • tried making file names pure ASCII: no dice
  • even my Foobar blue belt foo didn't help me on this one.

Best experience for me is place all files in one directory and play on random via Local Music -> Folder.

Tempotec V1 to the rescue for better browsing experience.

Is it possible to add this function with firmware update ? Turn the CONTROL wheel right & hold for 2 seconds to go to next folder

Yes, we continuously update both versions of our app.

The new version is already in the store. You can ask for a translation into English. Nothing is clear through the translator.

App update helping with these should be avialable in app stores this week. There will be an alongside firmware update for H7.

At this time we do not plan to be adding such button shortcuts for playback control. Current aim is to keep the controls of local playback to Eddict Player app.

Hey all, I was initially considering the iBasso DX320 but after some consideration, I'd much rather not pay the extra for Screen, OS, SoC, RAM... especially, since I need to upgrade my ~8 year old PC which is having a 4th Gen CPU.

Will the H7 sound as good as the DX320? I have read the whole thread and seen atleast 4 users mentioned that it's better than Gryphon and 1 mention that it's better than micro iDSD Signature which to me, is a very high praise considering that the micro iDSD Signature is my favourite device among the ones I've heard/owned like Gryphon, Mojo 2, RS2...

Also, what exactly is better (in sound quality) about the H7 vs Gryphon?

Similar price range but I personally prefer H7 because of SD card option. Just hoping Eddict player on IOS has more basic functions available such as search function..

No, H7's rival is Topping G5. But G5 is only 300 usd so not many will think of it as a quality amp. Cheap amps can't be that good!

Can only imagine Monarch 2 + Shanling M8 is one of the most musical combos ive heard in portable.
