Did anyone tried shanling H7 with sennheiser HD800s or HD820?

Is H7 powerfule enough to drive HD800s or HD820?

I ordered HD820, still thinking if its the right choice for H7?

The hd820 are very poorly tuned and no source will fix that.
The hd800s are very nice and i liked them a lot with the M8. From my brief audition, the M8 had enough power to drive them properly so the H7 should be even better with them.

I don't have HD820. However, you can easily drive 300 ohm Verite on a balanced output (4.4mm) on Medium Gain. So even if HD820 are less efficient you still have High Gain available.

Whereas I would wonder if the HD820 will not sound too bright in combination with the H7. This is of course a matter of your own preferences. But keep in mind that H7 is bit more on the bright side. Clean, fast playing. With sparkles in the treble. Maybe with a slight warming in the middle, but apart from that neutral and also technical playing, but in a good way.

The specs mention the batteries are 18650. Do you think they can be changed without sending back to manufacturer ? eg are there visible screws ?
Trying to find the DAC+amp that can last long !

If you send me your H7 then I'm brave enough to take it apart and post pics and a how-to. :)
Battery replacement seems to be difficult to do individually because you have to use an iron. And even if you are good at soldering, it seems a bit dangerous for individuals to handle undischarged lithium batteries. I think it would be nice to serve at Shanling.

We always offer out-of-warranty repairs, just need to send them to our factory in China.

Good afternoon. My application crashes, collapses and freezes when working on nothing phone (13 android). My user experience is clouded.
There is an updated app version V2.1.5 coming to play stores in week or two, that should help with the synclink crashes.
