Yes, look at the photo. When connected to the H7 SD card via the Eddict player on the smartphone, everything works fine. Navigation is convenient for different parameters. So there is a folder search option on the App when you use the H7 with micro SD?
I love the Shanlings sound- def my favourite among all companies but the software not so.
Im hoping they will add folder search option from the H7 device level. Then i will buy it.

Unless I’m missing something, the screenshots above are or can come across as misleading and does not answer the original question. Perhaps a language barrier or Zmey69 mistakenly accessed his smartphone’s MicroSD or internal storage and not that of the MicroSD card in H7 via SyncLink.
Eddict as standalone player app, playing from phones internal storage is very capable. You can search via search bar and album covers do indeed show cover art from folder as depicted above.
When connecting via SyncLink however, search via search bar currently does not work in SyncLink mode, nor does album cover retrieval from folder. The latter is a limitation of SyncLink as Shanling has mentioned numerous times before. The workaround is to retrieve album art from the web.
Via SyncLink, folder browsing is the most convenient method of navigating through albums on MicroSD card in H7. It’s a little old school, some may say archaic, but it works.

From my experience, having “Automatically Download Cover & Lyrics” enabled, does not download album covers until an album is played. You have to play an album or song from album first, correct? Only then will it show as in your screenshots above.
Edit : Just got home and tested it again.

Yes, that's right. When you enable the option to automatically download photo albums (Cover), they are loaded only when you play a track. Many people may not like it, I agree. But it doesn't bother me. You can disable this option and the icons will be without сover. In any case, there is folder navigation (recent of my screenshots), where you can see that there are folders and names of artists, albums and tracks. So no problem.

Not to put you on the spot, but you can see how that may unintentionally mislead folks whom does not yet own H7.
I currently have 1391 albums on a 1TB card. Playing each and every one, just to have some or other album art shown while using H7 via SyncLink, is just not an option for me and I’m sure many others.
This is not to dissuade anyone from buying H7, but to simply give clarity on the features and limitations of app when using SyncLink.
In other news, Linsoul Audio sent me an email saying that they finally received and shipped out my cover today.

I fully agree. Amazing DAC. The airiness of the stage is impressive. Dynamics, detail and resolution at a high level.
Incredible euphonic, musical, full-bodied sound... that sound that hooks you... The H7 is a marvelous device
best regards

There is one more important thing: power. For example, I was unable to drive the Verite with the SP2000T. On the other hand, with the H7 it drives ZMF without a problem on medium gain.OK here's my take. I don't often keep more than one DAP at a time, if I get one that I think is better then I sell the other on.
I had the SP2000T and the DX320 and I prefer the N8ii over both.
The H7 from a pure sound quality perspective is not as good as the N8ii or the DX320 however it does run them close in certain areas such as treble response.
I think the H7 is closer to the SP200t and again from memory I'd say I prefer certain aspects of the H7.
Not a great help I know but I'd say for the price the H7 is exceptional value in comparison to those TOTL DAPs.
As a percentage I'd say that the H7 is easily around 85-90% of the DX320 and maybe a little less to N8ii. Bot the best measurement tool but when you consider the price difference, this is definitely where we get into the principle of 'diminishing returns'
I use the H7 most days and it really is an excellent device that for some users will take away the need for a dap
The SP2000T in hybrid and tube mode sounds different than H7. Interesting, dignified. I liked him especially with Empyrean.
However, I think that the H7 sounds better than the SP2000T in OP AMP mode. H7 has more air on soundstage, better dynamics and clarity in the treble. Probably the top chip AKM AK4499EX leads to a win
Anyway it's hard to compare them directly, because the SP2000T has three modes and definitely Hybrid and Tube is its advantage.

The big plus for the H7 is its connection to a smartphone and the speedy UI this brings.
The SP2000t is one of the slowest, laggiest DAPs I've used

May i know where to find the option in Eddict Player to download covers automatically from internet? No difficulties with translation. Everything is as I wrote. I have almost no music on my smartphone
) Therefore, everything you see in the screenshots is all exclusively in the microSD card in H7 via SyncLink. There you can even see that this is a 256 GB memory card. I have enabled an option in Eddict Player so that it downloads covers automatically from the internet. Yes, in many cases the cover doesn't match the album. But it doesn't bother me at all. I'm listening to music, not looking at covers
And you can always turn it off. So no problem.
Thanks

It’s under “Settings” tab. You’ll have to disable/disconnect from SyncLink to access, as the settings tab is greyed out when in Sync mode.
