Can you pause and skip tracks when the H7 is connected to a phone via USB? If not, can that functionality be added?

The Fiio KA5 does this, and it is nice to change tracks without looking at your phone.

I got a good offer on used m7(650usd) and a month old h7(750). Based on perceptive of sound quality alone which is better. What is the better deal guys. Only using iems for now.

Overall sound quality, I would say H7 is better. But if your preference is strongly for neutral tuning, the M7 would have advantage.

But as always, you are talking about two devices with quite different use case, so my recommendation would be to decide primarily based on that.

Did anyone here tried H7 with EE Odin or Odyssey? If so how’s the pairing?

Second this question...
Often listen in bed at night so hardware buttons for skipping tracks back and forth are mandatory for me.

Is there any chance for adding balanced lineout by software update in future @Shanling

No, it's using different circuit than the RCA outputs and the volume is controlled in a different way. Not possible to just add in software line-out mode.

If you want to use H7 with additional balanced amp, you would have to run it from its balaned headphone port, set volume at 100% and then check both Medium and High gain, depending on voltage input sensitivity of the balanced amp.

Nah, not at all

Too busy listening to a top notch device

I was about to say the same thing - busy enjoying and nothing to complain about!

I debated selling mine a few weeks ago but thankfully I changed my mind having hooked up my Denon D9200 and loved the results.
