I actually tried out both cables but preferred the more analytical sound of the Cardas. The general consensus on the boards is that they're equally good but with different sounds so it is entirely a matter of preference in terms of which you should get. I would suggest you try both for the cost of shipping since both Headroom and StefanAudioArt have good return policies.

I'm probably gonna snag a Cardas for my 580s and move 'em over to the 600s after I get those (when I graduate from college). I'm looking for a good pair of efficient cans for my new 2nd gen. iPod. I've been staring pretty hard at the Grado SR60/SR80, but headroom says the SR80s need an amp to avoid sounding murky. For $60, the SR60s will be an affordable departure from my 580s. Aside from using them in my portable rig, I could use them with my home rig to provide a different glimpse into my music (especially my vast rock collection). Whaddya guys think?
