How do I set the modes for 24 Bit. 192Khz?. Sharp settings? They wont stay!

I have everything in my computer changed to 192 (Volume panel, Foobar resampler, Soundcard settings)

I'm using Toslink.

I have it hooked up through Toslink and set my Windows Volume Panel to 2 Channel, 24 Bit, 192000Hz (Studio Quality). Then clicked test and I get no tone from my Dac_II! It will play 96000Hz but not 19200hz!

Any help with the playing of 19200Hz or did I get a bad unit?

I added a pic of how my settings are.

Just got a message back from david!!

"For full 24 bit / 192 KHz you should use the coaxial or or BNC input."

just got your message today and searched to see if you had made a thread (apparently you did

).

maybe the toslink converter the dac_II uses can't support 196 kHz, although the DAC chip can... that's a possibility.

I sent a 192 test signal from my computer (Asus Xonar Essence STX) to my Dac_II and it doesnt play the tone (The tone is from Windows Volume Control)

Do you own any 192k files? If not, I'd honestly not bother caring about it.

This.

Plus, try the coax out if you've got it.

I agree with this as well. Technically, there are no advantages over 96k files anyways.
