Hey guys, I am relatively new to this forum and looked at the extensive reviews written here to decide what headphones I should buy. I ended up buying the Sennheisser HD 439 for a relatively cheap price ($56 boxing day sale =D). I just have one quick question. I have been using these headphones for about 6 hours or so and I noticed that whenever I put them on, I hear a weird crackling sound or a single click sound in the headbands of the phones (occurs when i stretch them to place them on my head and only happens on the left side of the headphones). The sound is coming from the part where you extend the headphones. Is this normal for new headphones?

P.S I bought these headphone from bestbuy and decided not to buy the warranty. Was this a bad idea?

Thanks =)

I also own the HD 439, and I also experience the creaking when I move it around, so I would say that it's normal.  It shouldn't be a bother since you won't hear it when you are listening to your music, so don't think about it too much
