I would bet that they are not sold out. I had 60 deductions and only bought one pair. So was 59 pair removed from the limit of 5,000 ?
I don't know what type of inventory software they were using, but they need to look into some upgrades.

I also feel very lucky. I hit refresh at 8:59:53, and by the time the page came up it was just after 9:00 and I grabbed them. Payment with PayPal worked without a hitch. Got a confirmation email both from MD and from PayPal.
 
I've always eyed the 650, but it's always been a little outside my budget. This makes them much more affordable. I'll be paring them with an Aune T1.

what a waste of time and i didn't get one.  the main reason i'm mad is because i woke up early.  any reason why they had the drop at 6 am pst?  i guess i shouldn't be surprised considering how they run their logistics.

Extremely disappointing. My experience was the same as so many others here. Voting this morning was easier than the debacle of mass drop and that's saying something. Needless to say I will not be attempting any more business with them. Very unprofessional.

A queue system would've been good for the company on a budget if they don't want to buy new servers just for one drop.

Got in a couple minutes after I got the email about it.  I was somewhere around 1200 I think.  Required a few tries, maybe 5?  I didn't actually see the page load that said it was successful until after I got the email confirmation.
 
I had a HD 580 Precision that I cherished from 1993 in high school I think when people thought I was insane spending $350 on headphones.

I'll note if you refresh the page, you'll see that they're clearing the duplicates as the savings counter is constantly declining.

This BS Massdrop was the biggest disappointment ever! Tried for 2 hrs but never got in.
