Anyone else noticed this?! I have owned HD650 and IE8 now and I notice the same thing with both.....
It could be described as a channel imbalance as that is what it seems like although every test I have done eg. frequency sweeps in mono / stereo, pink noise, low volume etc. various positions, change ears / channels etc. they seem to be the same volume....
It sounds to me as if the top left of the soundstage in my left ear is sort of missing and the right side sounds louder... Does anyone else notice this? Sort of as if the left headphone was a circle cut into quarters and top left quarter is missing / quieter... I have had this in both HD650 and IE8... Is this some sort of technique Sennheiser use to make the soundstage sound 3D? Anyone else noticed this?
