Does someone know a wired Sennheiser (or else) with a signature closer to the RS130 which produced a much brighter sound ? I bought an AKG 712 Pro and I am not really fan of it. My only complaint with the RS1*5 line is the darker sound signature.

@Sennheiser Is the RS 185 dead and burried these days or is it still available to purchase anymore? The RS 175 seemt to be still around but have not been able to find RS 185. Thanks.
RS 185 has been impossible to find for years (for me, in France), however they sold separately the TR185 (transmitter) and the HDR185 (headphones) ; RS185 being TR185+HDR185+(maybe ?) cables. Now TR185 is still sold for 49 euros but I cannot see the HDR185 anymore. Note that you can also pair the HDR185 with the TR175 etc.
For instance I purchased the HDR185 with the RS175 when HDR185 was available.

Occasionally (here in the US) the complete RS185 is available for sale on E-bay, but sometimes only the headphones and sometimes only the transmitter. And very rarely a new (old stock) in box is available. The same with the RS175 and RS165. Recently I did purchase a "new" RS165 and also a "new" HDR185 and then got a "used-like new" TR185.RS 185 has been impossible to find for years (for me, in France), however they sold separately the TR185 (transmitter) and the HDR185 (headphones) ; RS185 being TR185+HDR185+(maybe ?) cables. Is there anyone who still comes to this thread? I know the Sennheiser RS series of wireless headphones haven't been manufactured for a long time now but I also know some people still buy them from Ebay and enjoy using them...including me
