Hey I came across this website as I was browsing for some headphones to buy.
My birthday is coming up and I would really like to upgrade from the standard iPod earphones I currently have.

I live in Canada so things are usually more expensive so I'm on a budget of around $100
I went through the futureshop.ca website and I found two headphones that I am interested in.

Sennheiser PX100-ii and Sennheiser HD 228

I was also considering buying the Sennheiser PX200--ii despite it being 30 dollars over my budget.

I've heard many good things about Sennheiser and their build quality so I think I'll be sticking with this brand unless there are much better brands with better quality at cheaper prices.

What I came here for though is an opinion of which headphones are better.
Both of them are priced at $99.99 in Canada at futureshop so it really comes down to which headphones have the better quality.

Much thanks in advanced.

Do you want isolation?
Then hd228

Do you want portability (folding) and no isolation?
px100 II

Do you want both portability and isolation?
PX200II

I tried both the hd228 and the hd238 and IMO, the hd238 only wins by a margin unamped, as it greatly improves with a powerful amp.

This is actually a new revolution.

I have discovered a great deal with Sennheiser HD 238 for $100 which is the same price the deal at futureshop is for Sennheiser HD 228.

I'm still on the fence on which I should get though and I also am still considering the Sennheiser PX200-ii which is $130

Any ideas?
