Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 Impressions Thread

I have tried with spotifi. I can’t see the MTW3 in the spotifi menu either. Strange.
Try to do the following:

Reset everything again completely, including the app, make your device forget them again etc. Start again completely from scratch.

Once you do that, pair them with your iPhone in the Bluetooth settings before you download the app. So that they are already connected to your phone before you "connect" them to the app for the first time.

Report back again.

And today, as far as I can remember there is nothing changed in the configuration, my Iphone and the MTW3 are no longer friends.
NO connection again. :triportsad:
Have you got a ton of devices stored in your iPhone's Bluetooth menu?

Edit: if possible, DM me a video of how you are connecting so I can see what you are doing or not.

Got a pair of these recently to replace a pair of MW07 that gave up after three years and wouldn't hold a charge. I am mostly invested in dedicated DAC, AMP and wired cans and I get that these true wireless earphones are unavoidably throw-away tech, but the convenience of true wireless is compelling in some situations.

Anyway, went with the MTW3 based on the reviews on SQ and features. Out of the box they sounded ok but after going through the EQ process, they produced a better SQ than the old MW07. Much fuller and better instrument separation. I don't usually bother with the silicone/ rubber ear tips that comes with earphones and go straight to some comply TW I had. It was a bit tough trying to put the comply tips on as the diameter of the fitting on the MTW3 is quite large, but eventually managed to coax them in.

The app is quite helpful in setting up the earphones and made switching connection between devices easy. I'd add though however, since updating to V4.1.0.109x version of the app, the title on the Transparency mode tile is displaying "Firmware update" instead. Surely a bug that would get fixed in the next update.

Personally, I think they sound the best with silicone tips if you manage to get a good seal but that might be different for each of us.

About that bug:

Clear the app caches if you're on Android and/or reinstall the app on IOS and that bug will be gone.

I had the same issue. Clearing cache didn't work for me so I had to clear data (Android 12). Bug is gone but unfortunately so are the EQ presets that I was not using (still tinkering with the EQ). Luckily the current one is stored on the earbuds and not the phone so not all was lost.

@meridius Agree it is nice to see the case battery level. Definitely a feature I missed from my B&W PI7s.

EDIT: Disregard the first part above. If you are like me and think you've lost your presets, try logging back into your Sennheiser account (the app prompted me to log in when I created another Sound Check profile). Once I did that, all my presets were back.
