I bought the Labkable Silver Galaxy balanced cable for the Sennheiser IE 800S. It was specifically designed for the IE 800 / IE 800S. I liked the sound and the comfort. It is a great cable. I recommend it.

Sennheiser can't repair it: it will propose you a brand new Y part of the IE800S for 460 EUR (here in Italy). They're insane.
I bought a new pair of IEM - far better than IE800

I highly recommend Vesper. They have fixed one set of IE800 with a bad driver for me along with converting 2 pairs to MMCX. If it weren't for IE900, I'd still be using them every night.

I've just had the same problem but with IE800S, after 3 years the right driver suddenly stopped working...can't be fixed by Sennheiser.

Sure! They will ask you for €450 for replace the "Y" part, maybe with the IE800S, a real upgrade, LOL
