How do you like the ie600 vs ie800?

It’s been a while since I compared The ie600 had more bass and a bit brighter high mids and smoother treble

The ie600 has more detail and texture through the frequency range- bass might be a little faster on the ie800 but overall more satisfying on the ie600 imo

I have had ie600 for some time, and got the ie800 afterwards. I find myself leaning heavily to the 800 but then again I don't have both side by side for comparison. To me the 600 felt more treble heavy than the ie800. Also the soundstage is better on the 800 which gives this enveloping feel. On details, both are on par maybe but I have had instances where the 800 surprised me.

I heard the IE800 several years ago but I remember distinctly how large it sounded. An amazing sound. Just got a new cable for my IE80...I'll have to listen to them again. Not in the same league as the IE800 but still was pretty good
