Hello all,

Could someone please compare Sennheiser IE6 to Monster Turbine High-Performance In-Ear Speakers. Both seem to be selling around the same price ($100 in amazon.com).  I would appreciate if someone could provide insight on which one is better of the two. (Mostly for Metal, Rock, and Nu-metal).

IE6:

No such luck yet? :frowning2:
I've got my eye on this thread.

What did you like about your previous 'phones? In what areas do you think they could have improved? That sort of information ought to be helpful, as well as your intended source.

I've been lucky enough to try both pairs out, and I actually have kept hold of the IE6. Although the IE6 take much longer to burn in than the Monster Turbines, I believe that the bass in the Monster Turbines is a bit muddy at times, and the Mids and Highs aren't as distinct as they are in the IE6. The IE6 also seem to get better with every listen, and I've had them now for 9 Months (around 1000 hours of listening time).
