Hey gang, I am currently planning on purchasing my second pair of Sennheiser HD800's. Not using any special equipment right now, just an Asus Xonar Essence ST soundcard, as I mostly listen to my FLAC collection using ASIO. So far, been good, since the Xonar integrated amp seems to manage to drive the Senns satisfactory.
I was wondering if I would get a Violectric HPA V200 headphone amp, and plug my Senns in it, and connect the Vio to the Xonar ( essentially using it as a source only ), would I hear a lot of difference?
Anyone with such a combo? Any opinions at all would be greatly appreciated.
