How to clean, wash pads without damage them? I am selling my HD650 & i want to give them a good clean... They are in good shape so buying new ones is not necessary...
Water? Or it will "deform" pads?

You can use the search function here in Head-Fi, google or yahoo etc. Questions without prior search for answers cause repetition of contents in forums, leading to inefficiencies in many aspects of forums.

New version has silver screens, old ones has black screens.

Wash the pads in cold water with the same stuff you wash your clothes with. If you use hot water, the dye will run. I massaged the pads first and then rubbed them together. Squeeze as best as you can and leave out to dry.

You can see the differences without pulling apart the headphone. Whether the new one is better or not is something I don't care to start a debate over. Lil' Knight has both and I think he said it isn't a huge difference.

Add pad wear too. I got some new pads and . . . well the headphone sounds different in a bad way.

Agreed. After the pads wear-in a bit, the cans sound better.
