I'll be getting balanced too, once I can afford my HD800 setup lol, might be a long while though

UGH...I'm so freaking close to hitting the buy button for a pair of these, but I just keep getting caught up in looking to see the comparisons between 650s and other cans around that price range.

HD650s have been at the top of my upgrade list, but there's just too many dang choices

Hi Elu,

I feel for you, but tbh I think everyone on this thread went through the same thing. Nice setup your got there, I also tried the Zero and MKIII, its head-fi bug hehe.

Save up and get the HD800's

Cost me $200 delivered to UK, so around £120.

Hi, Is there a noticeable difference between these and the standard cables? What other manufacturers are there of upgraded cables, and who are better/worse.

Also a couple of pages back someone mentioned something called SilClear, is there somewhere I can get it from in the U.K or is there an equivalent?

Thanks
Steph

I got the Moon Silver Dragon's in 15' length and they are outstanding.

That's a good point you have there. If I could, I would trade the HD-650's for some Denon D5000's in a heartbeat.

Ultimately, Denon D7000's and HD-800's would be my two dream cans.

You still need 100+ hours of proper burn in and a good source to really enjoy them to the max.

At least you have an amp. I'm still waiting for the Nov 10th release of the Aune so I can order it. I'm really itching for a tube amp like the LDMKII as well, but that will have to wait.

Well after reading tons of stuff about them (at least 20 pages of just this thread alone)...I finally hit the purchase button over at Amazon.

With my LD and 650s arriving next week sometime, it should be a great week!
