Both are $250 and I usually listen to hiphop/rock and movies... also i will be using Fiio e10 to drive them.
 
Which one is better bang for buck?

You may consider looking into the Ultrasone HFI 680 and HFI 780.

Better bang for buck is the D2000s of those two. Look into the HiFiMAN HE-300s while you're at it.

Definitely D2000.  Awsome bass but not overwhelming.  The hd598 is great for instruments and music with emphasis on vocal.

I have both. For rock, its a toss up. Disturbed, Linkin Park, Stone Sour all sound better on the Denons. But Aerosmith, Journey, and Red Hot Chili Peppers sound better on the Sennheisers. HOWEVER all hiphop sounds better on the denons. Judging by your music preference I would say get the Denons, I promise you, you wont be disappointed,
