I got my pair of HD250 linear 600ohm in 2014 and they're still in very good condition now. It's my favorite sennheiser model now. For amps these years they're a little bit difficult to drive well.

Hello. I have HD250 Linear 300 Ohm for some time but Today arrived to me another pair of them in 600 Ohm version. I did so quick purchase that I have not noticed on original photos that metal label with model name on cups is completely silver without paint  Condition and drivers matching is very nice.

I did small sound comparision on same earpads, with same felt rings and on same cable. And result is a quite surprising. 600 Ohm version is less V-shape sounding and much smoother but in same time very power hungry. xDuoo XD05 Pro in turbo mode with balanced cable is doing OK but the better punch and much more of fullness I'm getting from Aune S17 Pro. They are very detailed, spacious, precise with great tonal timbre of instruments and vocals. Simple word : wow ! :eyes:

Have this impression too: Mk1 has greather sound stage (feels very spacial) than my two Mk2. But the Mk1 has only 300Ω.
The main impression of the HD250 linear for me is: what a great and wide sound, and so much power! Nothing else i know
is similar. The HD5xx series is not nearly so impressive and also not so spacial. At this time the HD250 was developed
in Germany existed a speaker manufacturer named Arcus. Their speakers have sounded very, very similar to the HD250 and no other
speakers sounded like this. Just as is the case with the HD250 linear.
