Hey fellow head-fiers, as the title states: what is the difference between the both of them? Besides the price and that the HD25's are older? Do they have a significant difference in SQ? Thank you.

The HD25 is the version from when these headphones were released 20 some years ago. The Hd25-1 ii, which is currently on the market, is just a mark 2 version of the same headphone, with possibly an upgrade of the driver but I could be wrong. I am thinking that there really is no different aside from the fact that the 1 ii version comes with the velour earpads with the pleather.
