Well assume you mean cursed like not being around anymore , rather than a bad headphone. If you do like the 660s there are a fair few being sold all over at good prices. Which may go up. Glad iv got mine , I like it. Very good for playing direct from audio players.
I'm love it from day one and I will always keep it. Until now I believe 660s are the most lively of them all

Can you dial in more bass on the 660 than the 600 without inducing significant distortion?

Interesting. The 32Ohm version of the FT3 is deemed to be slightly warmer and less analytical. I wonder if that version comes closer to the Sennheiser.

I have HD 660S and 660S2. My amp is Fiio K7. I dont use EQ. Still i couldnt try the HD 600. I used HD 660S for about 6 months. I have been using the S2 for a week. In review's most audiophiles doesnt like the HD 660s but for me a bit better than S2. Vocals are a bit clear in S2 and S2 has more bass and details in the background but this bass feels more unnatural and vocals gets pushed to the background. Yes S2 is closer to rest with every type of music but i dont want this. For example, Listening Sting - Desert Rose and The Rasmus - In The Shadows more enjoyable with 660S. Listening David Guetta's any song more enjoyable with 660S2. End of the day listening david guetta with 660S doesnt problem for me. Vocals are bright but more live in 660S. I tried EQ S2 but while eq tried to balance the bass, it also took away the details. Should i try the HD 600?

Yes 600 are to me the vocal kings they push everything else back.

There is something alarming in your review. You said FT3 has more deep and detailed bass and yet 660S2 has warmer vocal. It's not easy to do that. This to me indicates superior technical accuracy. Just wait for ChiFi headphones catching up and crashing the market.
The FT5's are Very impressive, for not a lot of money.
