Has anyone tried the HD660S2 with the Lotoo Paw Gold Touch?

II think 58x are 150 only on sale and only in US, for Europe they do cost way more no at sale are 200 and if u pay the extras its close to HD 600 price 270 euros.
So it depends , warranty also is a big problem , my HD 6xx had arrived with broken driver and u have to do with Drop not your local Sennheiser .
But yeah they are amazing if u can buy them at 150, the difference is big or not to me depending if i listen them side by side or not. side by side i can say that there is a lot of difference , mostly on timbre imaging separation.
I paid for the 58Xs just (if I can remember correctly) around 156 € for them (150 $ + 15 $ of shipping, and then the conversion to €) and, luckily, the customs didn't stop the package. So, I just paid that ammount :relaxed:

The HD660s2 bring out so much detail in the high bass & mid range that is otherwise almost nonexistent on other headphones. We need to normalize that "detail" in a headphone doesn't just mean upper-mid / treble detail.

thats very true. while the bass impressed me on the 109, i feel like something was missing and it brings it torugh on the S2

As much as I love the 58Xs and 580s... You guys tempt me with those 660-S2... Do you have Sennheiser commission? :relieved:

They are at 439 € at amazon, if someone is interested... (well they came back to 484 € with import duty taxes imported from UK, last night I saw them at that price)... I have to sell first the Shures I recently bought and then decide...

Thanks a lot, but I have to insist to don't usual shops (where usual shops are Amazon or Thomann) that in Canary islands we don't pay VAT and they don't understand that...

At the end, most of them decided to don't ship items here :slight_frown: (like, for example, Beyerdynamic).

* My best experience was with (https://www.keyboardco.com/) where I briefly said to them about Canary islands' special situation and they even added our region to the shipping destinations and discounted the VAT at checkout :relaxed:

Can one make a 6XX/650/600 sound like the 660S2 with EQ (or vice versa)?

Sounds close to 660s2 maybe yes, sound exactly like s2 in my opinion no , even if u get the same signature i dont think u can get the same technicalities like speed , imaging, separation, timbre .
An example for me that i have listen them side by side are the 58X vs 660s2 , measurements show that these are very close ( i am gone use a measurement from a great site ) hd660s2-vs-hd58x.png

U can see that 58x and 660s2 measure the same and even 58x had more bass, In real life my headphones i am 100% sure dont sound the same and i am not talking only about technicalities that i said before , the sound signature is different to my ears ... 660s2 are way smoother on treble have more sub bass more soundstage etch etch .
So in my opinion and my xp EQ can change a Headphone to better or worse but sound exactly like other headphone just by EQ ? No i dont think so ... and i am not even talking about different construction headphones , for example if u EQ a 1990 Beyer or Focal or HD800 to HD600 measurements that will not make them HD600 sounding headphones, close maybe different for sure ... but the same , No .
