If you could only keep two of these, which would you pick? DT990/600 Premium, HD650, HE400
 
I am looking to have something different from the HE400 which I have ordered but not received yet. I like both the HD650 and DT990 because they are different so which one is closest in sound to the HE400??

I don't have the HE400s yet (they're shipping tomorrow) but I'd say they're much closer to the DT990s (I have the DT880s) than the HD650s. From everything I've read, the HD650s are really laid back and dark, whereas the DT990s are energetic and sparkly.

I talk about this in my  thread http://www.head-fi.org/t/629768/hd650-vs-he-400-vs-ah-d5000-vs-t50rp-reviewed . It's just not fair to have to pick either one at all, but I settled with the 400. To have everything presented evenly like that and that detail level sell it for me.

how does the creative aurvana live compare to the he-400?  From what i've read the live's sound better with a bluetooth dongle than the he-400's because the bluetooth dongle can't power the he-400's but with the live, the air in between the my walkman tape player allows for less crappy cabling to degrade my signal.
