A few years ago I did own three of the sets.
I simply did like the boxes (for storage and display of better headphones).
I do still have one of the nice boxes, but I couldn't resist to sell the others when the prices skyrocketed.Originally I've got the sets for ~50 Euros each.
Nowadays they are going for ~150 Euros, and that's a bit much for a nice box.Seems that most of them are sold now to japanese and american collectors.
The headphones are nothing special by modern standards.Better than most of the stuff from that era, but many modern $100 headphones are better.
The resolution is quite mediocre and parts of what is there is fake detail due to overblown treble. These were designed before Senn switched to built-in diffuse field equalization.

x2. Competitive at the $60-80 range these days, and even then requiring an amp to stay in the game. They're alarmingly over-valued on the used market due to the effectiveness of Senn's old packaging and name choice.
